  1. 01Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. 02Halve acorn squash lengthwise and scoop out seeds. Trim a thin slice from the bottom of each half so it sits flat. Place cut-side up in a baking dish.
  3. 03Rub the inside of each squash half with butter.
  4. 04Whisk heavy cream and maple syrup together. Divide between squash halves, pouring into the center cavity.
  5. 05Sprinkle cinnamon over both halves.
  6. 06Roast 45 to 55 minutes until squash is tender. Halfway through, remove from oven and spoon cream mixture over the exposed flesh.50 min
