Method
- 01Press tofu for 30 minutes using a tofu press or wrapped in a kitchen towel under a heavy skillet. Pat dry and slice into 1/2-inch strips.30 min
- 02Whisk soy sauce, lime juice, and black pepper in a small bowl.
- 03Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add tofu and brown sugar, toss to coat, then sauté for 10 minutes, flipping every 2-3 minutes, until golden-brown.
- 04Stir in sliced onion and cook until translucent, about 3 minutes.
