- long grain white rice
- 2 cup
- cumin
- 1 tsp
- chili powder

- smoked paprika

- 1/2 cup
- tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup
- vegetable broth
- 2 1/2 cup
- red beanscooked
- 2 1/2 cup
- salt
- to taste
- black pepper

Method
- 01Heat oil in a sauté pan over medium heat.
- 02Add onion and garlic, cook 1-2 minutes.
- 03Add bell pepper and a dash of salt, cook 2-3 minutes.
- 04Add rice and toast 2-3 minutes until slightly browned.
- 05Mix in cumin, chili powder, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
- 06Pour in salsa and tomato sauce, mix and cook 3-5 minutes.5 min
- 07Add broth, mix, and bring to a simmer.
- 08Cover and simmer 13-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.15 min
- 09Add salt and pepper to taste.
- 10Add beans and cook until warm, about 3-5 minutes.
- 11Stir in cilantro if using and remove from heat.
