  1. 01Soak cedar plank in water for 1 to 2 hours.1 hr 30 min
  2. 02Coat salmon with olive oil and season generously with Montreal steak seasoning.
  3. 03Drain cedar plank and transfer seasoned salmon filet to top of plank.
  4. 04Preheat charcoal or gas grill to medium heat, about 350°F.
